Ya, that sounds totally awsome...Not. Lets take some wonderful pure species and cross them back and forth until we end up with some hybridized mut. I can see how most would think it’s cool to cross snakes but frankly I think it’s ridiculus. I have no problem with the animal it self, but it’s just the whole concept.
I hope you don’t plan to let these snakes out to the public. I hope reptiles don’t go in the direction of domesticated dogs/ cats. A pure species is more desirable in the first place so why would you want to change that. It just does’nt make any sense. Also with the little enclosures. What the hell is up with this. Yes, they can live like this but I’ll assure you they’re are’nt the least bit happy. The lack of space, stimulation from being active, objects in the cage quickly lead to a very bored depressed animal. I’m so sick of seeing this over and over. Most snake keepers are more like snake collecters. If you want to collect something, collect some money and buy your snake a half way decent cage. Yes, I am being very crude and straight forward but I can’t just let this keep happening. As soon as they get bored with the snakes they have they go out and buy another, they have fun with it than once again lose interest and continue the chain. I’m sure any knowledgeable reptile keeper will agree with me.
I’m done for now but I still have a thousand things to say.

That’s how we made man’s beast friend, also it is passable for to separate types of snakes of snakes to fined each other and passably breed, maybe not though exats snakes but it does happen naturally too. I mean how do you think it went from just wolfs and other wild dogs to the totally different Chihuahuas?

Lizardkidd - aren’t you getting dizzy up so high on that pedestal? It must be difficult to come down from way up there. Does your mom bring you your food, or do you have to come down and mingle with the common folk to eat? If you want to voice your opinion, I suggest starting your own thread so people can ignore you rather than having to see you getting all high and mighty on someone else’s post.

I, personally, would be interested in seeing what the results would be. I’m not a huge fan of hybrids, but some can end up looking really great. I think the bloodXball looks incredible, especially when it is full grown. The burmXball is pretty cool as well. However, I saw an ATBXETB and wasn’t all that excited by it. It didn’t really look like anything special (of course that is just my opinion, and if anybody disagrees with me, you are more than welcome to do so)
