If you have a few bucks to spare, go to Walmart, or bed bath and beyond, and get yourself an electronic scale. A kitchen food scale, postal scale, but make sure it weighs in grams. You can also find them on Ebay for pretty cheap (where I got mine). The advantages of having a scale is because most other breeders and keepers keep track of weight gain and overall "chunkiness" of their bloods based on how many grams they weigh x size. For being 10 months old, he looks to be pretty good. Now, on the same note, that isn’t a definite answer, because I’m comparing him to my Curtus. My curtus is 9 months old and appears to be the same size, if not a little smaller in length (which is to be expected for my species). I don’t have his card in front of me, so I can’t give you an exact number... but I’m guessing my curtus weighs 600 grams. I think yours may be anywhere from 600-800 grams. How often are you feeding him, and what size food item? Hope this helps you a bit! :) |
