 Can my Ball and Blood live together??

I have a 10 week old ball python in a 30"-12" tank. The owner of my local Herp store told me I could put a newborn Sumatran Blood in the same tank and that the two snakes would do well together until the Blood got much larger than the ball. I know a fair amount about ball pythons, but very little about Bloods.

Will temp/humidity be an issue, or can both snakes live in the same habitat?

Is a 30"-12" big enough for the first 9 months, or will I need to get a larger tank in the next 5-6 months?

1 snake= 1 cage
2 snakes= 2 cages

even with 2 ball pythons or 2 blood pythons!

Thanks for the response, Peter. Could you please expand on the reasons why each snake requires its own enclosure? From what I have read, both Balls and Bloods need basking temps of 88-90 F, cool temps of 78-80 F, and humidity between 50%-60%. Is it simply stressful on the snakes to live together? Is the size of the enclosure the issue? Thanks!

their temp requirements are a little different. the humidity requirements are also different for these two snakes.

do not house 2 snakes in the same cage. ever. it stresses the animals and also they could eat eachother.

Thanks a lot rlashed. I have gotten unanimous NO’s from every responder, but this is the first thorough explanation why. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question, and I will definitely not run the risks of housing them together!
