What I did wrong was the cardinal sin of not paying attention, I had the female in a seperate box for feeding which I do now and again when I am cleaning out her tank. She ate a jumbo rat but was still looking for more and in between watching boxing I hastily lifted the lid not paying attention and she launched out in a feeding response strike latching on to my arm, it was all my fault and in 20 odd years keeping snakes it sometimes takes a lapse like this to remind you to keep your eye on the ball lol

I tell you what though though being involved in martial arts and boxing for most of my life it felt like a solid punch in the arm and was pretty solid, a 20Ib blood hitting you is no joke. lol

Never been tagged that bad before although I pride myself on reading my snakes well, so I rarely ever get bitten but as I said this was 100% my fault she was fine once I got cleaned up and picked her up again.

Bloods are very unpredictable, one day they are mr cool the next day they want your blood just like thier name entails. What else could you expect from a big fat food machine. LOL its a animal just like all of us. My big borneo cut my finger to the bone last week thats just their way of saying good morning. Welcome to the animal kingdom Snakey. hahaha!

drakey your going to put people off lol Bloods are never after your blood ..hehe

My bite was a feeding response nothing more and it was not because she was saying good morning or after my blood ..drakey drakey are you on the sauce again mucker? lol

3rd time I have been tagged in over 20 years and all of them were my fault , and nine times out of ten all bites will be the owners fault.
