 Blood python question.

I am ordering a baby sumatran blood python soon. They told me that they a little nippy and ive also heard that its normal and know that some blood pythons are a little agressive than others. My question is,which species of bloods are known to be the most agressive?borneo?sumatran? Is it hard to tame down a baby?

 Blood python question.

From what ive readand from ym experiences with ym bloods the Sumatran’s are the most naturaly tame bloods. my bloods have tamed down pretty nicely, not to difficult. id say handle for 15 or 20 minutes a day ( except for feeding od course ) and your blood should probably tame down quickly and make an awsome pet.
Good Luck!

 Blood python question.

malaysians have the worrst rep for being aggressive but again alot of this has been to do with Wild Caught specimens, I have Malaysians and they are pretty tame and well handled. I did get tagged recently as you will see in the thread above but that was not from aggressive behavior.

 Blood python question.

Brongersmai are said to be the testiest
Breits are next
then curtus are sweety pies

Of course, that’s what I’ve heard. *rollseyes*

It’s going to be highly dependent on it’s origin (WC or CB) rather than the species in my opinion. My curtus’s are sweethearts, and I’ve also met some puppy dog brongersmai as well.

Just make sure you know who your buying from, and always keep their age in mind when handling. Babies are supposed to be nervous and scared, everything can eat them!! ;)
