 My blood...

is it common for bloods to go a period w/out eating...mine is about 5 mo. and hasnt eaten in 3 wks.
-i have great humidity,water, ect...I have been trying w/ F/T hoppers, but he just dosent seem interested. was feeding great...any suggestions/answers? thx!

Yeah I went through a similar experience when mine was about that age. It came down to the fact that he was going into shed, but it was not noticeable because he was still very bright. So it is possible that it is going into shed, which may take awhile. On the other hand the snake might just be picky, I would just stick to the feeding schedule and on the feeding day try leaving the food item (dead) in the set up with the snake overnight or for a period of time. You can also try to make sure the food is very warm because bloods rely heavily on their thermoreceptive labial pits to sense the heat of their prey item.

I know you said its husbandry is great, but also if the enclosure is to big, or not enough hides it might feel uncomfortable. But you said it was feeding great, mine went 5 weeks without eating...so if everything is good I would say stick with it and your snake will eventually come around.
