 What’s going on?

I finally, finally got a sumatran blood. I had to trade 2 Cali. kings and 2 rosy corns for her because I can’t have more than 4 small snakes and not more than 1 python in the house.
Anyways, one side of her tank is always between 90 and 100 degrees and the other side is 80 degrees. The humidity is between 50 and 60 percent. She is always on the cooler side of the tank. I lowered the hotter side to 80 degrees as an experiment and she took well to it. I thought blood pythons wanted to be in 90-100 degree temperature. What’s the deal? I gave her a kitty litter box filled with water and she hasn’t been it as far as I can tell.
