most likely nothing.... its not as easy to do as allot of people think..


theres a reason theres not a whole lot of crosses around... only a few of the big guys have been able to pull it off

ball pythons can and have been bred with black blood pythons,they are nice looking looking snakes and go for alot of money too they are called superballs...i am trying to breed mine with red bloods and hope to have some next year!!

hybrids are alot harder than they sound and only the big names are ever really successfull.

joejoek it was actually a marble borneo that was first bred to a ball i havent heard of a sumatran black yet.

i emailed Roussis Reptiles a few months ago asking if the cross you are talking about sumatran reds x ball had been done this is his response and words of advice spoken from the first one to ever do the cross.

Ball Pythons have also been bred to Womas (which have also been bred to carpet pythons). I beleive they are called "Walls"(Ball x Woma) and "Comas" (Carpet x Ball). You can find a pic of a few of them at moreliapythons.com under the hybrid section. Cool looking snakes. I unlike a lot of people like to see the hybrids. I find them to be interesting specimins but I have run into many purist who think that it is a horrible idea. They are cool to me. Just my opinion. But I have also heard of someone who sucessfully bred a Boaconda (Boa x Anaconda) yet I haven’t been able to find a picture of it online anywhere. Does anyone here know where to find a picture of it. I’d love to see it. That must be an awesome snakes.

The only cross with a ball python that I had heard of is with a blood python and is called a superball or a blood ball.

Also, I have to agree with Monty14, your ball is just a normal.

They crossed them with Angolian Pythons as well... But if you even had a thought in your mind that you could breed a Ball Python to a Red Tail Boa... I wouldn’t suggest you even breeding Ball Pythons to eachother, because you obviously have no clue.

The Coma is not a carpet x ball, it is a carpet x woma.

There are woma x ball (the wall)
ball x blood (blacks and borneos so far)
Ball x burm (burmball)
ball x angolan

I believe that there is the short list of it.

I saw the picture you were talking about online about the Boaconda but it had to have been 8 years ago. It looked like a green red-tail how ever the sattles were a very dark green and its head was a little broader (resembling the anaconda) and it had spots on going down the sides. I am pretty sure it was a yellow it was bread to.
