Doesn’t seem like glass would be a good insulator - I’d be interested in knowing if this has ever been used to successfully as well.

Oh my god, ive seen it all

If you are realy that interested in breeding reptiles, do your research and get a proper incubator. Yes it will cost you alot more but in the end you will have some reptiles.

You stand alot better chance producing reptiles with an incubator designed for reptiles rather than a home made one made from a fish tank or foam box.

Wakkbiy Though this design might not be good (I have not read the link) I do know of homemade ones that work great for reptiles. Such as the ones made from Plastic coolers (the good insulated ones) and ones made from old freezers. I have seen these work amazingly with hardly any temp variations if any. So yes, ones bought for incubating reptiles are great, homemade ones work just as well if done properly. Though that is just my opinion.
