I wish I took pics last night while i was feeding, because I was feeding our snakes piglets, G-pigs,rats and chickens and it didnt matter what order they were fed they still take other food items. I have never had a problem with any snake , while feeding chickens

They love all kinds of birds, and the feathers are made of the same material scales are, so they have good food value. Be careful of mites and other bird-related diseases though. They seem to be the only problems for snakes that eat birds.

I have fed some chicks when they were young and others didnt get any until they were older it all depends ,if I can get chicks when they are young or not. if not they will get chickens after I raise them a bit

chickens are good, health wise, chicks are more feather then they are meat, but if you combine with adult mice or small rat it should be good, a variety is always good, but remember to use pre kill because chickens have a tendancy to do worse then a rat every has done

To anyone who feeds your snake baby chickens:Please make sure your snake kills it first.I saw a horrible video on youtube of a burmese eating a baby chicken alive.It was trying to get out of the snakes throat.It was horrible.

the video i saw was in someones house and the guy was laughing and jokeing the whole time it had no educational value just another person who thinks its funny but if theirs a uta experiment video i must see it /i feed my snakes live prey not for joy but because thats the only way thell eat ive tried other methods

The video being referred to was of some guy stack feeding his Burmese. While the burm still has the rat in it’s mouth ( you can see the tail of the rat hanging out) some dope puts a live chick in it’s mouth butt first. Basically you can hear the chick chirp on it’s way down. Kind of twisted and pointless, but hey cocaine is a hell of a drug.

P.S. Chicks don’t have feathers, they have down (sp?). They are not highly nutritious and there are better options available.
