Profile says the person is from Conn. which is in the Northeast US. Would it be a problem if someone from Puerto Rico was asking the question??

By the way, I don’t think the burm/blood hybrid has been done.

I am definately not from Puerto Rico which I don’t know why that would be a problem. I am not even puerto rican. I was just interested in whether or not the hybrid had meen experimented with and what the result would look like. I figure it would come out to like a 10 foot snake with the girth of a dinner plate and a fiery patternless look. But thats my theory. Anyone have any ideas as to what it would look like?

The Burmballs are nice but I haven’t seen the Bateaters. I am particularly fond of the Superballs, the Blood x Ball hybrid.

You should not breed a Burmese Python at only 4 feet long. Not even a Female! At age, it doesnt matter the Length and pounds should be important for a Female Burm to breed. Males can breed at even 5 feet long and up hence they hit mature age. If you breed your female at 4 feet long theres a bet she wont lay eggs, or can even die.

Thats just inhumane to starve him why did you get a burmese python then?
and why are you housing a burm and ball together?
I doubt if your trying to breed
your not going to get a clutch out of a starved burm.
thats just not right thats being lazy and uneducated. you should really know better.

Its not something to be proud about to have a 3 year old burm thats not even 5 feet. If you can not keep it fed then you should probably find someone who can. If by some miracle your burm takes to the breeding she will more then likely end up passing away because her body is not built well enough to take on birthing yet. And noone really knows exactly how big a burmball will get because they havent been around long enough. But regular balls are capable of reaching lengths of 6 and 7 feet. I have a male ball python that is well over 6 feet. The burm ball is an amazing snake though. Im very interested to see an adult specimen.

They will get longer too. theres alot of people that do it so they can get their snakes to go past what they norm get. The people that do it are sick and are not respected.

They eat 1 large rat every 2 weeks. Your are feeding more often with more food. Thats is powerfeeding. You are dumb and sick. You are not going to any respect and I feel sorry for anyone who would take advise from you.

Well I put them together because I dont have any more to match and breed for this season, We will have balls(pastel, pied, spider, mojave, albino, blackback, granite, yellowbellys, hetivory, ghost, normals, hets), retics, burmese, boas, well and I see breeders do reticXburm hybrids and on the 90’s someone do a ball with a burm and science then never hear about what happened with the babies I want to figure it out..

I try this first, next season a burmXretic and ballXjunglecarpet or any other I can think of

By the way I’m a science student so why I can’t experiment to bring more diversity at the herp hobby so I will do what ever occurs me hehe I m responsible with all my snakes and the one that want to become expert or better have to experiment and prove something new thats what all scientist do.

I post this to have reactions, sugestions and not to judge what I do for me and our group of herphobbiest

So I know what I do.

And by the way sorry if I mistype something or write some crazy thing but is because english is not my fist language hehe sorry for that but not for the cross.

317 boa there is not a certian amount you feed a snake a week if you feel yours is happy with one that is your opinion. I feel it takes two to fill my guy up. I do not consider it powerfeeding. All my snakes are in excellent shape and breeding. They have the best of the best care and I do not need your respect I have plenty of respect from other members that also know how to properly take care of there animals. And moose bateaters are made from retic to burm breeding.

Ok thanks denial. Oh and i agree with you.

My friend feeds all of his snakes ( an albino burm, rtb, corn snake and two rattlers) at least two girth sixed prey a week. And they are the healthiest snakes ive seen. And i myself feed my 6 month old bp two small mice most every week. But if i dont have the money, she’s fine with one. So in my opinion if my snake looks hungry, im going to feed her another mouse.

And many ppl dont look at that as powerfeeding. So 317 boa you can go ahead and give me no respect as well. I dont need it from and dont care what you think. I like my snakes to thrive, not just survive

Even if you say you keep them in the same cage to breed that’s no excuse on telling why you breed BABIES! together. The Female is 4 feet for gawds sake! and is at 3-4 years of age?! Please explain. A person who owns that much of "expensive" snakes can tell not to breed 4ft Burmese Python Females. Because you dont have any Female to breed with your Ball Python doesnt mean you can breed them together! Shows how much you obviously dont care about your snakes:)

Thank you big moose. Its not safe breeding a 5 foot female burm and a burm should not be less then 5 feet at 3 years of age.
