NEW BURM SCARED OF PEOPLE HELP PLZ You should let your burm settle in and leave it alone for a few days. In the meantime, you may want to look into getting a hook so you’re not nervous and also so the snake knows that your coming in for handling. As far as the shedding goes, when your able to handle your burm, a nice warm bath for 20 minutes a day for three to five days as well as misting while in the enclosure should do ya fine. If your burm is retaining eyecaps as well, you may want to get a q-tip and moisten it with mineral oil and rub gently around the outside perimeter of the eye twice a day for a week. Hope this helps.
