 Question

Not trying to sound mean or anything here, but if you are considering getting a burm you should do alot more research on them.

 Question

depending on feeding schedule 5-10 ft. although 6-8 is more realistic. underfeeding can do just as much damage as over feeding. So a moderate feeding schedule would be best. Everyone has their own idea of what a good feeding schedule is. I know people that feed smaller meals more often and I know people that feed larger meals less often. Personally I feed every snake differently do to their genetics and metabolism. Some snakes grow quicker than others naturally just like with humans and some have more of a natural tendency to be heavier. When a burm is young feeding every 5-10 days is great as long as you are not stuffing them to force growth. I feed a meal that gives them a small lump for about 2 days and wait for the next scheduled feeding day. after they shed I normally give them a week and the start the schedule over. using this method My big girl fantasy was 8ft and around 25lbs at a year old and now at 4yrs old is 15ft give or take a couple inches and 120 lbs. The vets say she is the healthiest they have seen, great size and weight and proper muscle mass. We have 2 main vets for the snakes each having a minimum of 20 yrs each dealing with herps.
