Lets Talk Alright I was arguing with a kid who said burms get on AVERGAGE over 20ft. He told me they grow a foot a month. He said those female burms that grow 15-16ft. were not properly cared for. He said if properly cared for with big enough enclosure and NOT powerfeeding a male should be 15-17ft. and a female over 20ft. Now I seen alot of burms and alot on this forum a FEW of you have over 20footers and even some large males in the high teens but on average most of you have good n healthy 15-18ft. burms. I want all you guys n girls to put down in your opinion and experience without powerfeeding what is the AVERAGE size of a female burmese python. I’ve been doing research in snakes for almost a year now and from what I get females grow from 15-22ft. but more likely 14-17ft. He’s one of those kids who are hard to argue with he’ll never admit he’s wrong and stands strong in his beliefs. I just wanted to know cuz apparantly to HIM all you guys who have full grown or almost full grown 16ft females didnt take care of them properly and I do not agree. But Im no expert Ive never grew a burmese python and the one I have now is just a baby. So all you experts let me know whats right.

Lets Talk Hes a moron and should not be giving advice about snakes. Burms are more then capable of reaching that length. I have seen many female burms that are over ten years of age and have been cared for by the best that are 16-18 feet. Dont worry about your baby he will be a monster in no time. Burms dont stay small for long lol. Your lucky you only have one. THere addicting. I have 6 now and will be adding 4 more by the end of the month lol

Lets Talk the largest burmese i ever heard of is "baby" and she is 24 feet long approximately i only know of 2 Reticulated pythons which grow larger than burmese pythons that are at 24+ feet in length if burmese are meant to reach 20+ feet on average about 0.1% of people who keep them are getting it right BOB CLARK included nobody can argue with a bob clark snake and his care is second to none he’s so good he litterally invented albino burmese pythons along with many other morphs single handedly. He’s dam sure gonna know more than some kid
also a burmese can be kept in a 10 gallon tank or a tank thats a mile long but it will still grow regardless they aren’t like goldfish the only way to limit a burmese’s growth is to stop feeding it and thats bad care
well i have usually seen males that are 10 feet long thats quite often and ive seen them at 13-14 and they were all healthy specimens properly cared for
most females will be about 15 and 17 is a large specimen 19 is almost unheard of and 20+ is kinda like finding a diamond larger than the crown jewels it’s not impossible but how often does it happen lol
