Feeding question help!! 
my new burm is refusing his thawed rabbit ive tried three times a week apart and he will not eat it i got desparate and bought a live rat witch i know you shouldn’t do and he ate it right away then i put the rabbit in when he was done and he showed absolutely zero interest in it i tried again and he didn’t even try i shook it dragged it everything and i don’t know what else to do please help....

one thing you can do to trick it into eating the rabbit is tie a F/T rat to the rabbit and entice it with the rat end usually they will eat the rat and the rabbit just follows. just remember to use 100% cotton string and not more than you need.I have used this method for yrs and has never failed me when switching

have you tried feeding him a live rabbit? i just switched to guinea pigs today and figured i’d go with live since she hadn’t eaten them before but i stood there with pliers to make sure that the guinea pig had no opportunity to bite her

well the pet stores only sell frozen ones unless they are for pets wich are show quality so they charge 40 bucks a pop witch is a big difference from 10 dollars.

Or you could stop wasting so much food and give it a week to let your snake build up an appetite. Don’t try it tomorrow, give it a while. Your offering a little too frequently. Every time you offer food that your snake doesn’t eat that’s a life that was completely wasted. (when we’re talking FT and PK of course)

Of course I just NOW notice you said "three times a week APART" for some reason the first read through my mind neglected that last word. That and I was being a tad of a thread necromancer. But in any case, disregard my previous post. Hope you’ve had a little more luck though.
