 Im not bein lazy

i have searched and cant find anything i know you can house a burm in ny with a licence but how do you acquire a licence? and what states do you not need a licence in because i might concider movin in a couple years to one of those states after im out of school

You need a permit in florida. However if you can keep a secret you can avoid all the bureaucracy

ya but even if i tryed owning one secretly how do i go about buying one i can get one online but they will know what state its going to i cnt just drive to another state and get one cuz i dnt have that much money and i wouldnt even know witch state to go to i would do it the secrete way but unless u got any ideas of how to get one im stuck with out one "my dream since i was 10 was to have an albino burmese" and im 17 now

Their is no secret way. Some people sell burms, in states that require permits with out them. These laws are not strictly enforced. Look around and you will be surprised by what you can find. However I would not recommend that you purchase one illegally at 17. Unless you have a responsible place for it when you aren’t living with your parents (assuming you still live with them).

In NY I believe you need to contact the dept of aggriculture for a permit. most states at this point do not need permits here in Ma burms are legal but not afrocks, annie’s or retics without permits.

thank you all i will look around. i have sent a letter to a license unit in albany and seeing about getting one. and i do have a resposable place for my reptiles and my mom wouldnt care and i only got a year til i can get out of her house

lol you relize they grow alot in a yr? {mine went from 5ft to 7 ft + in 8 months} Just be sure you can take the new pet with you so Mom wont have to get rid of it

also im pretty sure you can find a pet shop {even a small one} that will buy one for you. Some times they will request payment in full before you get it tho. just some ideas for you
