I need Moisture for my Burm Does anyone know what kind of lid I can use on a 55 gal tank to hold the moisture in. I currently have a screen lid and have to humidify the tank often. I told Timmy that I am getting a humidifier that sits outside the tank and puts a fine mist into the tank. But also gets lost out the screen top. Help Please. I am new to all of this, and eager to learn

I need Moisture for my Burm Yeah, a Burm is going to outgrow a 55 gallon tank really quick, its ok tho, I’m sure you know that and will be responsible. But, if you go to Lowes or Home Depot, go to the Hardware department and find where they cut glass. Right next to that glass-cutting station they have Plexi-Glass squares. The ones I got came 12x12 for just over a dollar a piece...Cheap!!! Measure the part or parts of your tank you want to cover and if Lowes has to cut the pieces you pick out, the cutting itself is free usually. So just cut’em to size. Plexi-glass is one of the best things to resist escaping moisture, just cut it around the lights you obviously dont want a light to sit on top of it.
Good Luck, post some pics.

I need Moisture for my Burm When I started out with burms I would make a plywood cover and cut a section out and use wire cloth to make a vent on one end . cut the plywood to the demensions of the tank and make trim work from strapping that way it hold the top down and doesnt need any weights or clamps
