Reflections...
Some can ask what is this post all about, but i just figured the need to post it. The picture above was taken at a specific time when i was quite down and i think it’s funny because it really gives away my mood at that current time. It was Winter. Well, i guess we all get a little depressed during Winter... I had been stretching the 2 snake skins i keep at home through the floor of the living room. Those were 2 huge snakes i had raised from tiny things, a burm and a retic, and once they died i decided to keep their skins to have something to remember. But somehow i got nostalgic and a little sad also. What about us?? We will all die one day too... they say good leather can last centuries, then i guess my snakes (the skins) will be around to be seen after i am gone myself.. Kind of freaks me out to think about it. And how will i be remembered after i am gone? A fool with a strange hobby or a man with a healthy passion for the living.. in a world where nothing stays alive long enough to make it worth it... ?? |
