Im trying to make a hybrid
so someone told me that i can breed my albino granite burmese with this retic and make borneo bat eaters so i did a bunch of research and found out that i need female retic shed to get my male retic in the mood and then move my retic and the skin into the albino granite burmese cage and hope he bangs the burm and not the dead skin i just thought i would make a post on here and see if anyone else has tried or successfully done this just curious as to how difficult this is going to be i heard the babies go for around $1200 its the only reason i got these two snakes seeing as they are both mean as hell and i really wanted a regular burmese but i also wanted to try a breeding project because i have never breed before this might not have been the best choice for my first breeding project.... any help or advice will be greatly appreciated..... by the way i am located in central oregon if anyone has a female retic that has recently shed

Im trying to make a hybrid IMO you are way over your head , I have had a male retic hook up with a female burm without using any sheds or any tricks, but still the rate of a good clutch is very low. still no luck here and I have also had a male burm hook up with a female retic still no luck. People that I know that have had luck with making borneo bateaters have only had a few out of the clutch hatch . you may get a clutch of 20-40 eggs and end up with maybe two or three hatching. now you say you only got them to make money , do you really think you will make much knowing these facts? you would have been better off breeding a pr of burms or a pr of retics.I have a good size collection and only try to breed for the hell of it .I dont try and make money from it because I know that the market is full enough that no matter what you produce someone else wil always do the same and end up ruining the market price, which means you wont make a profit, after you look at all the expences for caging, feeding , electricity and your time involved. I say get a different hobby. not trying to be mean just my 2 cents

Im trying to make a hybrid Ditch the projct, he is rite about the hatch ratio, and there is no real formula, it works either way.
