 Calling things by their names

I’m posting here just because i use this forum more than any other, that’s all, could as well post it anywhere else. I just wanted to say that i have seen many pictures of eggs with 2 snakes in it, mostly around net forums, and... why oh why do people ALWAYS call it TWINS? The dictionary describes twins as sibblings from the same birth (or clutch in this case). That’s all. All snakes already coming out of each normal egg will relate to all others in the clutch as twins, so the double critters don’t represent twins in relation to each other anymore than any other snake there.
So they should either not be called anything or, by dictionary rules, they are SUPER TWINS, or twins by excess.
Ok, i got it out of my system now... lol ;)

actually . two snakes in one egg would be called maternal twins where as the rest of the clutch would be faternal twins, trplets ,quadruplets and so on. that is unless they are from different yolks in the same egg then they would just be normal faternal twins anyway. lets just say genetic break downs are just another way for mother nature to screw with the natural order of things. LOL
