 Retic localities

hi guys,

just curious....know of a resource/site which can discusses the diff. locales (not morphs...) of retics?

So far...I’ve only heard of sulawesi and jampea...I’m sure there are others.. :)

ok there are sulawesi (giant), jampea (dwarf), kolatoa (dwarf), kayuadi (dwarf), thai (giant, buton (semi dwarf), selayer (semi dwarf), and tiger (yes they are actually localities.) and ofcource the mainland aka normal...im sure there is more but cnt fink right now

The tiger is actually a mistery. Some people say that they first came from Europe, some breeder in Germany or something. In America they got popularized by breeders such as Bob Clark or P.H.Pets. It’s a little hard to tell if the original tiger was a mutation from some breeders clutch or if it was actually a wildcaught from some specific area where others evolved to look like that (Asian jungles are large and hold many surprises).
