 Learned a lesson.

So I’ve been housing my female super tiger with my male tiger retic. The female is about 5ft, the male about 4 ft. Well I always seperate them when i feed. This time when I stuck the male back he started moving around and my female struck him and started wrapping. I grabbed them and ran to the bathtub turned the shower on hot and sprayed them, which made them seperate. So I learned my lesson without losing a snake thankfully. My question is, the male has a few teeth marks that bled a little. Will they be alright if I leave them be or should I put something on them? They are right behind his head. Thanks

OMG...you muppet!! lol ....first of all, you should ALWAYS have your snakes in seperate vivs!! and they should be kept togehter when your going to breed them (BTW THEY ARE TO SMALL / YOUNG) and even when you do decide to breed them when they are older, you only keep them in there for a few weeks together, And you never should feed them 2 weeks before or while they are together!!!!! the reason the female struck the male is b’coz she can smell them food and see the heat coming off the male so must have mistaken him as food!!!! YOU MUST GET THEM SEPERATED ASAP!!! it is very risky...ive heard of snakes being kept together, then one of them eating another! so please for your snakes benifit, get em seperated! and i think if its only a few minor wounds then get some sort of anit-septic??? im not to good with the medical stuff, so i think the others will help you with that
cheers

I know they are too small to breed. I was told I could leave them together for a little while when they are young. I’m almost done building a tank for my yellow conda so my tiger can have his old cage. I guess I should have left them seperate a little longer after they ate. But I won’t be taking anymore chances. They will not meet each other again till it’s time to breed.
