#528713 Jasper View Profile	Cypress mulch I have been told that cypress mulch was bad for snakes...I just read the article from bob clark that said :Cypress mulch maintains humidity in the cage and is resistant to decay. Other wood products rob the cage of moisture and can be dusty. For small snakes, indoor/outdoor carpet may be acceptable. So i am wandering if its good or bad. the link to the site i read that from is in the thread about needing questions quick or something like that..

But Cypress is great for humidity as is said in the article, and certainly looks better than newspaper if you’re going for a naturalistic setup. Cypress can be hard to get depending on your area, but if you can find its usually pretty cheap from a place like Lowes or Home Depot. I thinks a little under 2 dollars for a 4 cubit bag of it here.
