bites. alot. I was told they were fairly calm pythons by you kind people.
He’s getting big, which concerns me, because he is still a viscious little bugger.
I was thinking of selling him and getting a slightly less aggressive snake

how old is he?? if he is still young then dont worry he should grow out of that. they are just naturally like that when they are young. mine is too but she has calm down a LOT, and they wil just grow out of it.

Acutually a carpet bite is nothing! It feels like a sting for like 3 seconds for me then goes away it kinda feels good. It does draw a little blood but I just dont feel it that bad. What really hurt is a bite from my chondro!!!!! H0lY $h!t!!!!! Now that hurts more and draws less blood can you belive that! After a bite from a chondro a carpet bite is nothing!!!! When my kingsnake bites it feels like a flick lmao! he makes a sound witch makes it a little scary but its really nothing lmao!!!!

If it concerns you that he’s getting big, maybe you should get rid of him. If there’s one thing I can guarantee you is that a living python, if fed, will continue to grow. I don’t think there’s anything that you can do about that LOL.

These snakes can become very friendly, but it takes patience. Maybe a ball python is more up your alley.

A hook? I think it will be better for you to just use your hands. Try getting bit by a 37" argus monitor. Ouch!!

how old is he? u’ll find that no one said that juvi’s are tame we said that they nip and u just need to tame them. We never said that their totally calm. we said they calm down when their older(normally). selling ur snake won’t help it, it just makes them more stressed and more nippy.
here’s the best things you can do:
  • handle it more for longer periods of time.

  • make it’s tank smaller or bigger(to big=stresses it out, to small=cramped)

  • if it’s near other reptile’s it may be stressed because of them.seperate it.(just because it was in a pet shop with others doesn’t mean it liked it)

good luck. i hope it helps. try these different things and see if they/one of them helps
