 Important! So stressed plz help

Okay, earlier this evening i finished putting the final touches on my new arboreal cage that i was building for a future green tree python. I totalled about 15 hours this week building it, sealing it, and finishing it. But guess what, its made of pine! I just found out that pine is poisonous to herps and all my work was done for nothing. Can someone please tell me what woods arent dangerous to snakes? I am planning to build the next out of fir high grade plywood. Is fir dangerous? Any help on this matter will be grately appreciated. I never knew that wood could harm snakes. Who would imagine...

Thanks,
Trent

You can use wood to build cages for green tree pythons. Check www.finegtps.com for instructions on building adult gtp caging out of wood.

That being said, gtps are a LOT easier to keep imho in plastic/pvc/acrylic caging.
