Questions about some snakes well first of all in that situation i don’t think you should be bringing any animal back in if thats how things are where you live at the moment ,if you are living at home with your parents and you choose a large species like that you will be needing lots of money and space and if your dad isn’t that supportive of you keeping animals especially something as big as those species then i would say wait till you move out then decide. or get a smaller, cheaper(in terms of care, feeding bill, housing, etc.), and more maintainable species.

Questions about some snakes Do you mean a Macklott’s Python? Like eight feet, I think. Probably the most expensive of the animals you listed, but the only one you can really seriously consider. Burms, Afrocs, and retics are extemely difficult to find good homes for when you have to get rid of them. And unfortuntely, you do not yet live in a situation where you are in control of whether or not you’ll have to get rid of them.

Questions about some snakes Dude, in your position a Macklott’s is already pushing it, but an afrock, a burm and a retic? Don’t even bother . Those three get 15ft+ man. Regardless of price, you should just completely reconsider and rethink everything you intend on doing by purchasing a snake of those proportions.

Questions about some snakes Let me suggest that it’s a lot nicer to have a roof over your head than a pet snake in your bedroom.
