This is NOT a hormonal color change at all, the hormonal blues will come in when they start reaching maturity/breeding age and usually will start to turn when they are cycled for breeding. This is a pretty little baby bred out of super blue bloodlines and has gone straight from baby red to this powder soft color. I am curious what she will do though as she does get "hormonal"... wondering if it will stay the same, get darker blue like her mother or ? They’re a mystery to figure out!!! All I know is this baby is a KEEPER!!! She’s barely over a 100 gms now, can hardly wait to see how she looks in a couple more years all grown up, all I know is it’s probably going to do nothing but get even nicer looking! Woot!! Lucky to be me!! |
