 Omg omg omg i need help!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok i was walking out side with my rat snake last week and i went in my barn to look for rats for him and it was a lil chilly out and the rats go in the barn to get warm so i walked inside and i looked up and saw a rat i gaught it in a net and fed it to him the i started to walk out the a board fell and knocked me out i woke up like 3 hours later and he was gone the door was close and thats only place to get out theres no holse in the barn so he couldnt have got out i know he has food in there from the rats is there any way i can lurer him out to catch him? i got him out the wild from my uncle dont got no pics of him i got him for christmas with the cage and all from my uncle he didnt want him now please tell me is there any way to lure him out?

part of me thinks this is not a real story. walking out , looking for rats? with your snake with you ? while its cold? you happen to see a rat right when you walk in?caught it with a net? . out of nowhere a board falls and knocks you unconscience?for 3 hours? if i was knocked out for 3 hours , i`d be headed for the hospitol.

whenever someone starts with omgomg omg !! its hard to take them seriously
if i`m wrong , i`m wrong , but it sounds a little dramatic to me

Chances are you aren’t going find him. He’s in a barn with a lot of rats... why would he want to go back with you and back to a cramped cage? Watch out for those mysterious dropping boards from heaven next time, and you won’t have this problem.

-GOOD LUCK WITH THAT. If this is true, the olnly thing I could really recommened is looking in the warmer parts of the barn. Also, you could set up some simple pit-fall traps, and you just might get lucky.

i think e.v.t. meant is lay out some boards or items the snake might come across and hide under . like in the corners or where you usually find rats . check them every few days

story does sound fake to me to, but chances are there is holes in barn especialyl if theres rats in there. also if its cold out and you taking ur snake inot that kinda weather with you IMO you shoudlnt be owning a snake. not to mention that if gunna keep it captive shoudl be offering it captive rats to prevent disease. yes in wild itll eat them but it also doesnt have a choice of captive or not what it eats is up to you. so if was wild caught its back where belongs and the other option is the story fake and you trying for advice where none can help. as it isnt like a dog thatll go back to your house after a while. as for no holes in barn but it has rats is unrealistic since the rats will put holes in it for you
