 Rat snake housing

i cant find a lot of care sheets about them and i was wondering would a 30 galoon long be good for an adult texas rat?

Yes...That’s actually the perfect size (IMHO).

But make sure you put a piece of plywood across the screen-top (from front to back) with at least a 10-pound weight on top of the plywood!! Make sure the ends of the plywood are resting on the frame of the screen-top and not on the screen itself (otherwise the weight might rip through the screen).

Texas Rat Snakes are escape artists and will escape if you don’t weight the top!!! Locking clips may not be enough!!!
