 Help with grey rat snake



one those black patches is turning into an open wound. i put neosporin on it. what else should i do to keep from infection? i’ll try to get a better pic in a minute. it is wild caught and adult.

same care as your corns really, but more space and climbing areas.
they are the same technically, corns are just a ’red rat snake’

one of its scales came off.i put some neosporin on it and i want to know what else i should put on to stop infection from coming.

Repti aid and antibiotics on a bandage .. and it might help if you put a little more calcium in his diet. (and vitamins)

i’m going to petland today for a big list of things i need like pregnant mice, vitamin A water drops,repti-aid, fish flakes,feeder minnows,crickets,etc.so i’ll get it at around noon.

i also gutload the feeder mice before feeding so calcium and minerals isn’t a problem.

Be careful with loading them up with vitamins. Snakes get all the vitamins they need from the rodents gut contents. Too much vitamin can lead to hypervitaminosis and can be deadly in not corrected.
