There are a few good reasons for this. If a snake has parasites/respiratory infection/ other contagious problems, it’s only a matter of time before the other snake gets it also. One snake could regurgitate and you might not be able to tell who it came from (especially if the lump from feeding has already gone down), not to mention snake vomit is NASTY and very acidic. It’s one thing to have one snake covered in its own vomit, but two is even more of a hassle... Basically it’s just not recommended. I was at a show this year and a lot of people asked the people working the booths if you can keep multiple snakes together. The answer they all gave was a big fat no. |
