 Arboreal??

At AZ reptile, a store in phoenix AZ i’ve noticed that most of their rat snakes always seem to be in trees. is my leucistic an arboreal snake? Does it need trees and branches?

 Arboreal??

With perhaps the exception of burrowing snakes like the rosy boa, sand boa and maybe one or two others, I think that the vast majority of snakes, even the not too arboreal pythons and boas like to climb at least on occasion. Since we can’t give them entire rooms most of the time, I like to provide my critters with something to climb on. I’ve found my hatchling hognose snake climbing on his grapevine branch once or twice in the month I’ve had him.
