 Black rat snakes?

I’ve been set on carpet pythons but Ive recently gotten really interested in black rats.

how much would one of these go for at a show?
and would you prefer them or carpet pythons?

also post some pictures of full grown ones (:

They (at an expo) go from anywhere from $20-$70.
Black rats are a lot of fun, have great personalities, colors, and you can find many different morphs of them.
I personally would choose a black rat over a jcp, but if your looking for a small- medium sized python... jcp is the way to go. Also, remember black rats get 7 feet on some occasions.

If you want any specific information on the black rat snake feel free to pm me. I’d be glad to help.
Best of luck!

 Black rat snakes?

I think I might, but it’s a really tough decision :|

How big do they get?
like the girth, not the length

I usually like more heavy bodied snakes,
but not like the burms or anything like that

If its full grown, it can be 2" or a little more "s thick... but some are more "fat" than others, it depends on the snake and the diet.
