Help???anyone??? hey, i have a 4 year old bairds rat snake, i was wondering does anyone know how big he’ll get? At the moment hes a perfectly healthy 7 feet long,i’ve done quite a bit of research and most places say this is big for a bairds, but all are uncertain. Any help on this subject would help thanks

Help???anyone??? That would be huge for a Baird’s. Even five is a pretty big Baird’s, six is a VERY big Baird’s. If you’re really not over-estimating that length, I would suspect him to be a hybrid with one of the larger forms. In any case, at four years he’s probably about as big as he’s going to get. That would be the case even if his size were a lot more average. Rumors of lifelong snake growth are greatly exagerated.

Help???anyone??? Is there a younger snake in the room with him? Sometimes the pheremones will make the older snake start to go into shed whenever the baby does. I had to move my speckled hognose into my bedroom because my bull was always doing that to him.

Help???anyone??? The only problem that I actually know of is if he stops eating and keeps missing meals when he goes blue. That was the issue in my own situation.
