Rat snake egg question I had to remove a 4.5 ft grey rat snake from my brother n laws house the other day(he’s a sissy)and i had it in a spare tank until i could take it out to the woods and release it,but i came in to 24 eggs the next morning and am building a incubator out of a cooler but wasn’t sure if i need to place a small fan in it to circulate air or not for snakes?I’ve heard mixed on this and was looking for opinions

Rat snake egg question Be careful it not good to move snake eggs those snake eggs have air sacs in them that when they get flipped or upside down you kill kill the eggs. If its not to late youcan float them in water and place them in bedding the way they float to ensure they are right side up. Good luck.

Rat snake egg question Ya i’m not moving them, i transferred them to my plastic shoebox on perlite temps about 85 moisture is good. When i moved them i was careful not to turn them.I got to them early enough that the air shouldn’t have settled to the top yet.
