 Rat Snake Hybrids

Good Day All

I know that this is mostly frowned upon, but, I will be crossing a few of my Rat Snakes in the upcoming season. These crossings will be.
Great Plains x Leucistic Texas.
Amel Corn x Black Rat.
Leucistic Texas x Creamsickle Corn.

Please note that in each crossing the male is listed first.

What do you all think?

Should be some cool crossings. Especially is the F2 generations if you hold some back. I personally don’t like hybridization, but I am doing a few Elaphe hybrid projects. This all sounds very cool. Show us picks of your hybrids when they come. Hybrids are always interesting to see.

Look, it’s going to be a good while before I have hatchlings.

Here in South Africa our breeding season starts in the month of September with hatchlings typically hatching in January / February.

I will be sure to hold back a few hatchlings with a view to the F2 and progressing onto the F3 etc.
