I can’ handle it anymore... My orage rat does the same thing...his feeding schedule looks like a boyd’s as opposed to a collubrid’s. I don’t know why this is, everything is good with him (temps, housing, etc.) he’s just an odd eater. Also, some rats can be like ball pythons and be picky around certain times of the year. My little rat, Fred just started eating regularly about a week ago, and I thought the same thing before he did this. Just keep offering food items, and he’ll eat when he’s hungry.

I can’ handle it anymore... He looks like crap and feels so skinny....I don’t know IF he can go much longer. I’ll try the lizard and see if that works. I know mice (live and f/t aren’t doing the trick).

I can’ handle it anymore... Sounds like your where I’m at with my BPs. I’m just not used to an animal that can go so long with out food(LOL). This habit is just to alien for me. But I finally got both eating again I just hope it stays that way. All my other snakes do fine eating, don’t know about my two new snakes as I’ve only had them for a little over 6 hours. I went to the midwest reptile expo today and got a yellow rat which they say maybe laying some eggs soon. And I also picked up my first FL water snake as well. So I hope I can do right by them.

I can’ handle it anymore... He FINALLY ate. I offered him 3 pinks and he took them all.....so far no problem with regurge....I was afraid I fed him too much but he is holding it down. Now maybe he will start eating a little more regularly.
