Too fat?! D: I have three male rats and three females. Two of the males are a little fatter than the other. Frank being the biggest, he has always been the biggest of the three, then Rupert, he just started to gain a little more weight, and Bob, always been the size he is. They all get the same opportunity to food and treats so I think that it is just the rats personality and whatnot. Don’t really have anything to tell you, but that your rats don’t look huge to me, not skinny, but not huge either. What do they weigh? I don’t know what the norm is, but that would help a little better at determining whether or not if they were weighing to much or not than a pic would. Sometimes pics can be deceiving.

Too fat?! D: they r not at all fat looks normal i breed rats for feeders and pets, mine would make 2 of yours, see if you can find a Norway rat then your talking huge, like a tom cat but with shorter legs. i feed my rats carrots, cilantro, brown rice. i use to feed dog food which made them have stronger muscle tissue. but after the scare from china of dog food poisoning. i went to rice, carrots, cilantro its does the same for their tissue and is probably better for them. my snake’s look good from feeding on some of my rats.
