Help asap, many questions little time.
I’ve never been on this forum before, but this afternoon my mom caught a mouse in our house and tonight when I went to take it out, I found out that it wasn’t dead. It’s pretty cold and wet up here, and I don’t want to just put it outside. It got nailed in the front foot, it’s pretty much scrapped. Won’t stand on its own, just curled up in a ball. I put it downstairs in our basement, it’s about 60° at the most down there, it’s the best I can do with my mother’s restrictions. Just a little field mouse, I just don’t want it to be... I dunno, I just felt sorry for it and want to try and give it at least a fighting chance. I put it in a ten gallon, aspen bedding in the bottom of it. Should I try and feed it or give it some water tomorrow? It can’t really move on it’s own, so I wouldn’t expect it to eat much if I put some corn in there on something. Does anyone know anything else I can be doing for the little thing besides just keep it warm and as comfortable as possible? I’m almost positive I won’t be getting sleep tonight now, I’ll be checking back. -Trav |
