 Fixed for no tumor?

Well, I’ve heard that some rats can get a tumor if they’re not fixed. Is this true? If so, should I fix my three rats???

I don’t think getting them "fixed" would help much....If your rats are prone to cancer, they’re going to get it regardless......

I’m against fixing animals by the way....................................They’re not broken!!!!We break them!!

I believe in spaying and neutering pets. DO you know how many animals are euthanized in shelters?

At any rate, you should do what you think is beat for your rat.

I kind of agree with the whole "they are not broke, we break them" thing but it depends on the animal... if its something like a rat or other pet that is generally caged I wouldnt get them fixed but when it comes to pets like dogs/cats that can/will get out accidents happen its one thing.... but for most pets its stupid owners who cause all those shelter pets... odds are that guinea pig or rabbit didnt get out and get pregnant....

And with the topic, fixing your rat will not prevent tumors the only thing it does besides sterilization is cut back the hormones a bit which *can* (not always) make an agressive rat more docile... GL with your babies
