Rebecca Wright View Profile	Mouse questions! Hi, I got a new group of mice, they are all pinto (acording to the lady I got them from) except for two.. I have 1m 4F and 2hoppers (both female) (hoppers are all white adults are pinto with either black or brown...) I am having some issues with them... all of the adult females except one look really fat but im not sure if they are prego or not... I am also not sure of anyones ages... One mom took to nursing the two hoppers which is sooo cute lol... What I am wondering is whats going on with my mice... the male, one female and one hopper NEVER leave the nest.... except the adult two leave to get water (not very far from the nest) and the other adults bring them food! The female who is nursing the hoppers and two other females are out of the nest except when they are asleep... one female runs around the cage jumping like a kangaroo everyonce in a while... almost seems like she thinks something is bitting her bum... and another female digs alot and she was sitting in the corner breathing all heavy like she was having a panic attack or something... but today seems normal.... Why is the male always in the nest? Why is that female freaking out? and why was that otehr female breathing heavy? There are no babies in the cage that are related to any of the adult mice. I feed them lab blocks which I get from the pet store... and they always have acess to water... their bedding is aspen wood shavings which I do plan to switch to something like the stuff that looks like lint... but cant until the other stuff is gone (which will be in like 1-2 cage changes) THanks
