these babies were born on the 7th of this month. im new at breeding, but i thinki got it down somewhat, as ive been asking over on the small animal forum. there are 15 of them...

THEY ARE SOOOO CUTE!!! I want some babies! right now im sitting on some prego mice (they all look like a furry ball with a head lol) but its just not the same... and I dont get to have rats :( oh well but I am major jealous! good luck with em

Your babies are A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!!!!!! My ratties had 15 babies to, but 1 died during the first week. :-( They all got great homes, but I kept one female named Clover. I breeded a male silvered-black-hooded with a female albino. Clover is a black-hooded and is now going silver.

oops! mama just bit one of the kids!! it was one of the neighbor kids. i think they held the babies too much last night. i told them we need to start socializing them and so we were all holding them. but, just for like 3 or 4 minutes....

i think it might have been because shes not use to the neighbor kid, as she hasnt been around for a while. i guess we should leave them alone for a while....lol

LOL...i dont know why or how i got 2 pure white ones..... but, what are you breeding (colors/types). the mother has quite a bit white in her, and the father is mostly all black, save for his underside. maybe her white and his almost solid color had something to do with it.

also, im thinking/hoping they turn out to be more on the cream side....

The white prolly came from mom... but may have come from dad... it depends on what their parents looked like :p both rats could have had white parents (well one white parent) and that coulda passed on... I know taht when I was breeding rats and bred a hooded to anything I always ended up with a few whites... specially when it was two hooded
