i’ve been selective breeding for good personalities and different coats and patterns for a while now. you start off with rats that have one or more of the traits you are looking for or similar to what you want and over time take the best babies from every litter and selectively breed them with the best babies from other litters untill you get what you are looking for.

awww they are sooo cute! Marshmellow has the same markings as a few of my mice lol thats awesome!
