 How many females to 1 male

ok i just got a 40 gallon tank and was wondering if i could put like 10 female to 1 male in it, or something along the lines of that? without jeperdizing them not having babies or something


any help would be great

Well that really depends on your personal preference... some people like ot give their mice lotsa space and others dont really care... Personally Unless its a 40g breeder OR 40g long I wouldnt do it... I would put maybe MAYBE 5f 1m but thats just me... plus you gotta take into account just how often you will be cleaning the tank... more mice = more cleaning.... GL!

lol yeah I didnt really think about it either lol but I noticed if I put more than 4 total mice in my 20L it was just waaaaaaaaay to much cleaning lol... and smelled bad all the time! GL!

You could have a 20 to 1 ratio and all of them would get pregnant
