Would a pregnant female mouse be more aggressive to new mice than one that was not pregnant? I have 2 new mice that I’ve been wanting to introduce to my other female (in a neutral tank) but she is pregnant. She’s due in about a week. Should I go ahead and introduce them before she has babies, or should I wait until she has them and they are weaned and gone? Thanks!

Absolutely DO NOT try to introduce any new mice to your pregnant lady! Wait until she has completed her maternal duties, then try an introduction on neutral ground.

Having experience with pregnant creatures of both mousey and human variety...upsetting the balance of a pregnant anything is likely to cause it to react in scary negitive ways. Pregnancy causes a powder keg of hormones and kicks in protective instincts. Ask any father. *grins*

One thing you can do though before introducing them together is mix up some slightly soiled bedding from each others cages so that they get used to one anothers scent being in their territory. Id wait til after momma weans the babies though. (or is done nursing after pinky harvest)

Ok, I’d figured as much. Guess it’ll be a while before they become acquainted then. Thanks!
