 My newest litter

Just thought I’d post a couple pics of my setup and breeders. From these two, I got brown and white babies. The dad is on top and the mom is the white one. She gets dog food in the white dish and her regular seed mix in the feeder. I took their wheel out for the pictures. Enjoy!

Thanks guys. I originally had the wooden house for my gerbils, and it had another side hole but i covered it to add privacy for momma. They don’t chew it at all actually. They just finished off a Poptart box, I usually give them cardboard and twigs from our apple tree to chew. Babies are getting big, a week old today!

I’ve got several apple and pear trees! Never occurred to me to give the mice some twigs of that to gnaw on!


I will continue with the cuttlefish bone as that gives them calcium as well as good dental hygiene, but also today will give them a bunch of fruit tree twigs. You come up with some great ideas, Jake!

Thanks! I used to give them to my gerbils and they loved them and it kept their teeth in check. The mice chew them up pretty quick.
