 Rat breeding success!

Well, my rat breeding project for my ball and corn has really taken off! First up is my younger female, Jazmin. She only had 5 babies for her first litter, but she’s an excellent mom. Three have been fed and she is raising up the last two.




Here’s Biz, my other breeder female. I’m not sure how old she is. She had 12 babies 4 days ago.




And last but certainly not least, my young breeder male, Kirby. He is the father of Jazmin’s litter but not Biz’s. Biz was pregnant when I got her.

That’s a very clever way to give them more space, what with the tank topper and all. That tank topper looks very durable and rat proof, too.

Yeah, it works great. I used it for my gerbils, and my rat seems to like it. He took a while to figure out the ramp and hammock, but he uses them both now. I’m excited, in Biz’s litter I got a few hooded rats! Updated pics soon!
