 I need seriouse help... REALLY

Well my situation is that i need a pet despretly...any reptile...has to fit into a ten gallon... and CAN NOT have any lights or heat... i am talking the stone age here people... i need a reptile that can go without heating or lighting... i can feed them crickets and other stuff... and it cant live in water tottaly... maby half land half water. my freind recomended a salamander i said cool... but i want a big one, but in my state tiger salamanders are illegal. somebody help me either find a big diffrent salamander or a diffrent reptile with my needs... thanks Tyler G

wait oh yea... i am not a beggining reptile person, my situation is like this because i alreaddy have to many things plugged in and i need something new that meets my needs... now thankyou again, Tyler G

1. Salamanders are amphibians. Much different than reptiles.
NO reptile can live without light/heat. Absolutely not even one.

If you weren’t a beginner, you would already know this.

Tiger salamanders and fire salamanders are what I would suggest for you, but they are cramped in a 10 gallon as adults, in my opinion.
My Fire is still in a 10 gallon, but he isn’t fully grown yet.

Look on Caudata.org
They have a lot more information about amphibians that would fit your ’needs’.

well, i’m not sure but I suggest you read up a little bit more when you deside=] if you buy a critter and don’t know how to feed it, thats a problem. well good luck!

no offense, but you’ve been posting on a lot of old threads. check the dates, this is from 3 months ago.
it’s okay, i did it too when i first got on the forum, just look next time. he’s probably not even on the site anymore, idk.
