So as you all probably know I recently got two tiger salamanders, I am pretty sure the one (more yellow in color) is a barred tiger, but the other one is hard to tell. The company’s site says they are eastern tigers, but they are definitely not the same! Reptilefreak23 you said arizona or sonoran, is there something that gives it away as that? I have done some digging up on the internet but it is so hard because the easterns kind of look the same as the arizona/sonoran. The tail is obviously different (made more for swimming) and he seems to have a swollen cloaca which I read that sonorans can reach sexual maturity much sooner, and even while still in larval form. He is about 7 in long and is about 38g. Here are some more pics. too. If anyone has any insight let me know! Sorry for the long post.
