Hatchling and Baby Yellow spotted sally Question?

Hatchling:
- Alright will they eat frozen Daphnia after it thouse in the water and the baby Daphnia fall to the bottom of the tank?

Baby Sally:
-Ok what is the best substate for my baby sally? I have him on eco-earth but he and his food are getting the coco-fiber stuck to them. I seen that for babies they could use pebble rocks for like fish tanks so they dont get anything on them and it was easy to see there food?

as for your first question, it might work, but they do prefer live food, that moves

second question, eco earth is fine, pebbles are a bad idea, if aren’t into the whole stuff stuck on your salamander, then you could use damp paper towels

Hatchling and Baby Yellow spotted sally Question?

alright, well im having hell finding live food for then... i just had a whole container die for unknown cases. I dunno if it was the food problem, disease or not enough oxygen? I mean what does it mean when alot of them flout at the top and some on the bottom? I might if it starts getting to bad i will release them into the swamp/stream buy the house and let them to there think. I raise the 1in to 2in long one just fine already have 2 babies but i cant get the little hatchings to work out for me... I also can raise toad tadpoles just fine to big adult but the bullfrog ones give me hell and die alot?
